In my investigation, with geochemical techniques, I intend to search for promising mineralogical and geochemical indicators for a next targeted prospecting. Working with Geographic Information System Databases, with the gathered field and analytical data, I can build several scenarios on chemical, geological, petrologic and mineralogical models. Accommodating the gathered field and analytical data into a Geographic Information System I intend, simultaneously, to propose a model of emplacement of the Alkaline Massifs that contain these elements in the context of the igneous activity. In Monchique Massive its interesting identifies the processes present in the upper Cretaceous igneous activity of the SW of Iberian Peninsula. I work with GIS tools applied in Geochemical, Geophysics, Geology and Cartography. I have fully knowledge of ArcInfo and GeoMedia platforms. I teach the Geographic Information Systems module for the Masters in Marine and Coastal Studies of the Sea and Environment Sciences Faculty - University of Algarve. I am developing the GIS tool for VALEMON Project (Economic Valorisation of the Alkaline Massif of Monchique). I have complete knowledge of the general computer systems including Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista, Networks, Office tools and Internet. I have full knowledge of the most known programming languages such as Pascal, Turbo Pascal, Visual Basic, C++ and Borland Delphi.
