I have over 14 years experience in Health & Safety working in various Industries’ including Oil and Gas Exploration, Module Construction, Maintenance, Ship Building/Repair, Onshore Civil/Engineering Projects etc. Educated to Diploma level in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Management with Chartered status of IOSH. Presently undertaking studies towards MA in Health, Safety and Environmental Law (Distance Learning). I am presently employed in Egypt as a Clients Safety Consultant during various Drilling programmes. Previously I have experience with both EPC contractors and Client positions, where I have worked on large International/UK projects with the management of site based HSE teams in both on and offshore locations including co-ordination of site HSE activities for Construction/Commissioning phases, verification that project is meeting safety goals and objectives and reporting to Project Management. Also including the establishment/implementation of site/office HSE / SMS Performance Monitoring programme, compilation of site/office HSE performance reports/presentations/statistics, developing HSE Plans, procedures and documentation, establishment and maintenance of the site/office HSE management systems, ensuring they are in line with applicable legislation and 'best industry practice'. In addition providing HSE advice/assistance to the construction team, engineering disciplines and management team, supporting and advising the project to achieve safety, health, and environmental objectives from design to construction.
