I am a highly motivated person currently seeking employment in areas of logistics & supply chain management. My main skills include stock management, classification, storage and disposal of highly flammable liquids, and implementing stratigy and tactics to over come errors in supply chain movement. The views I have expressed on this page is based on my working and first hand experience, during my nine years service as a Logistics Executive for Domino UK Limited (Jebel Ali Free Zone) As a Logistics Assistant my job was to handle the supply and distribution of Domino Printers, Spare & Fluids to our existing customers. Our regional office in the Free Zone would directly support its Free Zone, UAE and GCC customers. This included direct logistic interaction with our customers based in Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen & Oman. Our domino printer base, in terms of units where small in comparison to Saudi Arabia, primarily because of Saudi Arabia’s booming market, especially in the industrial section. I was not involved with Saudi Arabia, after we appointed a Saudi based company as a sub-distributor. Our printers where categorized as industrial printers, this meant that they where station on a 24 hours running production line. One of my main objectives was to ensure our fluids reached customers at the right time. Failing to do so would result to a production halt. Therefore supply at the right time was essential. Apart from the above I was assigned for the following tasks: •Stock Inventory Control •Free Zone Customs & documentation formalities •Hazardous Waste Material Management •Import & Export of Class 3 Flammable Liquids •Domestic & International Dispatches •Warranty Procedures •Warehouse & Chemical Storage safety regulations •Sales Order Processing • Implementing tactics and strategy and report to Logistics & Finance manager. I come from an ethnic Indian back ground but born and brought up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Im fluent in English and I do speak a bit of Arabic and Hindi.
