TSR is Taman Simalem Resort, located just outside the town of Merek on the cool Karo highlands, next to the Sipiso-piso Waterfall, 2 hours 15 minutes from Medan or 45 minutes from Berastagi – it is the hidden pearl of Lake Toba. Set at the edge of breathtaking grassy slopes overlooking the magnificent volcanic lake, Taman Simalem Resort will be an integrated agro-resort when completed. Infrastructure works are being carried out at the 208-hectare resort which will include:
• 5-star hotel and cottages
• sports and recreational facilities including a 9-hole golf course
• screenhouses and fields of orange, mango, passion fruit, etc.
